Fashion Design

The design aesthetics were derived from merging an extreme sports jacket with the urban style of an 80s influenced bomber jacket.

Smart Fabrics

Outlast interfacing was used in reverse to demonstrate the smart textiles properties by this fabric used for extreme solutions in particular sport. Users can touch the jacket to feel the cooling Outlast interfacing properties.The actual surface of the interfacing, however, has a beauty on it's own that we felt should be revealed.

Technical Design (Current prototype)

A photo is emailed from a camera phone to a specified email account. Using fetchmail in daemon mode, the email is transferred to a local account on a web server. A perl script runs as a chron job and pulls images from emails for display on a WIFI enabled PDA. The PDA is loaded to a html page with a meta refresh tag so that it can display new images as they arrive.
